A Thought:
To
say that I am made in the image of God is to say that love is the
reason for my existence, for God is love. Love is my true identity.
Selflessness is my true self. Love is my true character. Love is my
name. Thomas Merton - A Book of Hours |

Pray Together...
Lord, fill us anew with your Spirit that we might bring
good news to the poor, proclaim release to the captives and recovery of
sight to the blind, let the oppressed go free, and proclaim the year of
the Lord's favor. Let us be your hands and your feet in the work of
establishing your kingdom on earth. Amen.

Week 2 -The Amazing Challenge
From
October 11, 2009 (the first day of our 30th year as a MCC church) until
February 13, 2010 (Ash Wednesday) there is the opportunity to journey
through key passages of Scripture that will empower, guide and build a
firm foundation for our faith. Readings will be sent via email and
printed copies will be available to those who request a copy from Rev
Margaret.
Participate each week, look for hidden
opportunities for gift cards, but most of all take time to learn, pray
and strengthen your faith.
